Tell us a little about yourself and where your love for music started.
Ever since I was little, music has been part of everything I do. Whether it was singing, dancing, or simply feeling connected to the music, I've always had a natural love and appreciation for it.
How did you get into DJing?
One day I saw a video of someone creating a really cool mashup and thought it was amazing. I told my dad about it, and he took me to DJ classes where I learned the basics and discovered a whole new passion.
Was there a moment when you thought, "Okay, I'm really becoming a DJ now"?
Definitely. It was when my very first mix aired on Ready D's radio show. The amount of love and positive feedback I received from listeners made me realize that this was something special and that I was truly beginning my journey as a DJ.
In your short DJ career, you've already achieved a lot. Tell us more.
I've been fortunate to achieve quite a bit already, but I still see myself as a student of the craft. In DJing, the learning never stops because knowledge is endless. I'm excited about what lies ahead and hope to continue growing, achieving new milestones, and inspiring others along the way.
Tell us about your radio mix slots and how that came about.
I was asked if I would like to create a mix for The Good Vibes with Ready D. After the mix aired, the response from listeners was incredible. That opportunity led to guest appearances on The TwinzSpin Mash-Up Show, which has since evolved into The Groove Shift with Masoodah, where I currently hold a resident mix slot.

Have you discovered anything new about yourself through this journey?
I've learned that there are days when you don't always feel your best or have the energy you'd like to bring. It's not always easy to hide those feelings, whether in DJing or life in general. Through it all, I've learned the importance of staying true to yourself and trusting the process.
What type of DJ would you describe yourself as?
I would describe myself as a multi-genre DJ. I enjoy exploring different styles of music and adapting my sets to connect with a variety of audiences.
What are some of the challenges you've faced on this journey?
One of my biggest challenges has been worrying about what others might think. There are also days when motivation isn't at its highest and pushing myself to improve can be difficult. However, those challenges have helped me grow both personally and professionally.

What are your goals as a DJ moving forward?
My goals are to continue building my profile, perform internationally, play on a cruise liner, and inspire the next generation of DJs — especially young female DJs who may be considering a career in music.
One word that describes your DJ journey?
Inspired.
